Whether you're completely new to archery or already an experienced archer, we'd love to welcome you to St Austell Bay Archers.
If you're new to the sport, our 4 week Beginners' Course will teach you the fundamentals of archery, including safe shooting technique and range etiquette.

We provide the equipment, so all you need to do is turn up, learn and enjoy yourself!
If you'd like to try archery before committing to a full Beginners' Course, we may be able to arrange a one-off taster session.
Taster sessions provide a brief introduction to the sport and an opportunity to meet members of the club.
Places and availability may vary, so please contact us to discuss arranging a session.
Our Beginners' Courses are open to people aged 10 and over, with no previous archery experience required.
We provide all the equipment needed during the course.
Courses run over 4 weeks, with an additional follow-up session on a regular club night to help you transition into club shooting.
The course costs £60 to secure your place.
Once you've completed our beginners' course, you'll be able to apply for our club membership which is required to attend our club nights regularly.
Membership to Archery GB ensures that you are correctly insured against injury whilst shooting and also grants you permission to enter competitions.

You will receive a membership card with your official registration number, along with a quarterly magazine. This membership card allows you to shoot as a guest at any Archery GB-affiliated club.

This fee covers insurance at our venues and must be paid before attending a club night.
Once you have completed the Beginners' Course and have your club membership, you will be able to attend any of our regular club nights.
At the Club
When you arrive, please register yourself in before shooting. We also appreciate members helping with setting up and closing down the range.
Club nights are charged at £4.50 per session at our indoor venue. Charges for outdoor sessions may vary depending on the venue.
When and Where
Club nights are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, from 18:15 until no later than 20:45.
For the majority of the year we shoot at Carnmoggas Holiday Park aiming to shoot outdoors during the summer months.
